What are Amazon Shipments ' Labeling Requirements?
Edited

Different labelling requirements apply to final delivery methods for Amazon:

FNSKU Labels

Amazon assigns a FNSKU (Fulfillment Network SKU) to a product to identify it as unique to the seller.

Each product sold on Amazon needs FNSKU tags, but you can register with Amazon to ensure that this requirement is fulfilled by your manufacturer’s barcode.

Unit labels are the labels on your product and are not Amazon labels unless you register as the FNSKU unit label.

It is necessary to apply a FNSKU label to each individual product.

By filling out the web form in your Amazon Seller Central Account, FBA Carton Labels FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) carton labels are generated.

Send the FBA carton labels to your supplier for labelling of origin to ensure an efficient shipment. If your shipment is divided into multiple fulfilment centres, multiple FBA IDs will be available for your shipment. Each FBA ID will have a different FBA label, so make sure that each box with the correct FBA label is labelled by your supplier. If your supplier does not add the original Amazon FBA carton labels, they MUST mark the cartons with the Amazon SKU* labels when shipping FCL (full container load) to Amazon or transloading the shipment.

LTL Pallet Labels

If you use Amazon LTL or Prime Freight LTL, it will be important to palletize the shipment before it can be shipped to Amazon. In our store, pallet tags will be added. Prime Freight requests limited access to your Amazon Seller Central account so that your operating team can download, print and apply the pallet labels at the warehouse after the shipment has been palletized.

Palletization costs will be reported on your invoice as a Warehouse Value Add fee.

FCL Packing Options

You can either palletize your cargo or floor load your cargo if you are delivering a full crate to Amazon. If you choose to palletize, when the shipment is palletized at origin, pallet labels must be applied.

FBA labels can ONLY be applied to a Prime Freight warehouse if the master cartons are marked with an Amazon SKU or a product name as listed in Amazon Seller Central. If the cartons are not marked and you are requesting labelling services from a Prime Freight warehouse, you will be required to accept liability.
