Track your shipments
What this covers
How to find a shipment, read its status and timeline, and get to its documents. For customers tracking ocean or air cargo from booking through delivery.
Steps
Open Shipments. Select Shipments in the left menu to see all your shipments in one list.
Find the shipment you want. Use the filters and search to narrow the list by:
Status — Delivered or Not Delivered
Mode — Air or Ocean
Reference, Container #, HBL/HAWB, or PO number
Shipper, origin/destination port, or date range (ETD, ETA, or last updated)
Read the status at a glance. Each row shows the current Status, a progress timeline, the mode (air/ocean), key references, origin and destination ports, ETD and ETA, and customs status.
Open the quick view. Click a row to open a side panel with the shipment's key details without leaving the list.
Open the full shipment. Select the shipment to see its full detail page, including:
The milestone timeline from origin to delivery
Air tracking for air shipments
Demurrage and detention information for containerized cargo (see Demurrage & detention)
Documents attached to the shipment
Download documents. From the detail page, open the documents section and download what you need (for example your Bill of Lading or arrival notice).
Tips
ETD/ETA update automatically as carriers report progress, so check back rather than relying on the original dates.
Watching one shipment closely? You can share a live tracking link with a colleague or supplier who doesn't have a login — see Share a shipment via a tracking link.
Troubleshooting
A shipment is missing. Clear your filters (an active status or date filter may be hiding it). If it's still not there, contact your Prime Freight team.
The status looks stuck. Milestones update as carriers report them; gaps between updates are normal, especially in transit. If a date has clearly passed with no movement, see What to do if your shipment is delayed.
