Link POs & styles
What this covers
How to use the PO & Style Manager to link your purchase orders (POs) — and the individual product styles on them — to the shipments that carry them. Linking gives you item-level visibility, so you can see which order and which styles are on the water at any time.
Before you start
You'll need at least one purchase order in the portal. See Create & manage a purchase order.
A style is an individual product line on a PO (for example, one SKU or item number). One PO can contain many styles.
Steps
Open the PO & Style Manager. Go to your purchase orders and open the PO & Style Manager.
Find the purchase order. Search or filter to the PO you want to work with. Each PO lists the styles it contains.
Link the PO or its styles to a shipment. Select the PO (or specific styles) and connect it to the relevant shipment.
Confirm the link. Once linked, the PO and its styles appear on the shipment, so you can track them from the Shipments page.
Tips
Link POs as early as possible — ideally when the order is booked — so item-level tracking is available for the whole journey.
Keeping your supplier records tidy makes matching POs to the right shipper easier. See Add & manage suppliers.
Troubleshooting
A style is missing from a PO. Check the purchase order itself — styles are added on the PO. See Create & manage a purchase order.
A PO won't link to a shipment. Confirm the shipment exists and belongs to your account; if it still won't link, contact your Prime Freight team.
