Take a tour of the portal
What this covers
A walk through the main sections of the portal so you know where everything lives. You get around from the left-hand menu, which stays with you on every page. This is for anyone new to the portal who wants the lay of the land.
Steps
Start at the Dashboard. When you sign in you land on your Dashboard — a summary of your recent activity and a jumping-off point to everything else.
Open the left-hand menu. Every section is listed down the left side of the screen. Select any item to open it.
What each section does
Here's what you'll find in the left menu and where to learn more:
Rate Search — Get live ocean and air freight rates on demand and move straight to a booking. See What is RateSearch?.
Quotes — Review quotes prepared for you and accept the one you want. See View quotes and accept a quote.
Bookings — Turn a rate or quote into a shipment and approve it. See View and approve a booking.
Shipments — Track every shipment from origin to delivery, with milestones, customs status, and documents. See Track your shipments.
Deliveries — Follow the final leg to your door or warehouse. See Manage deliveries.
Purchase Orders — Create and manage purchase orders, and link them to shipments. See Create and manage a purchase order.
Invoices and Manifests — Find your invoices and shipment manifests. See View invoices and manifests.
Insurance — Request cargo insurance for a shipment. See Request cargo insurance in the portal.
Suppliers — Add and manage the suppliers you ship from. See Add and manage suppliers.
Schedules — Look up sailing and flight schedules. See View shipping schedules.
